...simple, yet miraculous!

Packing Party was tonight...and it was a GREAT TIME!

God shines bright in this team!

Our pastor showed up right as we were getting to pray so he prayed for the team...short, but impactful when you stop and think about it...

He prayed:
I pray you all see a burning bush.

Seriously...read Exodus 3 and chew on it for a little while...

Exodus 3

Moses and the Burning Bush
1 One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. 3 “This is amazing,” Moses said to himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.” 4 When the Lord saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, “Moses! Moses!”   “Here I am!” Moses replied.
Things interesting about these verses:

God can and will use anything to get our attention and to turn our eyes to Him. Question is, will we take the time to stop and look? Will we stand in amazement of HIM? Even if it's something as simple as a bush on fire?

Will we ask questions to what He is doing around us? Or will we be too busy to bother?

Will we take the time to move in closer and take another look at what God is doing around us? Or we pass by those moments to see God?

Simple...yet Miraculous...will we get to witness God do the miraculous, because we took the time for the simple...

How will we respond when God calls our NAMES this week?
